I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife Rani and my two daughters. In my spare time I write and read music and books.

I have a degree in physics and philosophy from Oxford and a masters in ethnomusicology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, for which I studied Hindi and Indian classical music.
